Sierra Designs Convert 3 Single Wall Mountaineering Tent (3 Person)

We took Chris Warner’s feedback from his K2 climb and created the Convert 3, a single-wall shelter featuring an internal- and external-pole configuration, super ventilation, and a zippered floor opening.

Designed using feedback from Chris Warner--a mountaineer who has summitted 19,000-foot-high peaks more than 100 times--after his 2007 summit to K2, the Convert 3 single-wall mountaineering tent will keep you sheltered in even the toughest winter conditions. The Convert 3 is made of a breathable, waterproof Drizone 40D nylon fabric, helping it withstand both rain and snow showers while still offering ample ventilation. The tent's internal and external pole configuration, meanwhile, gives it extra stability--a must for windy expeditions on blustery peaks. And campers will love the tent's dual doors, which make it possible to enter and exit the tent without stepping over two or three tentmates.

Other features include a zippered floor opening, reflective door trim and guy outs, sew-free windows, and a 360-degree view. Built to comply with Sierra's Green Effect program--an eco-conscious commitment on the part of Sierra to reduce costs and waste and grow programs to promote sustainable outdoor recreation--the Convert 3 is an ideal choice for both summer and winter camping.
