The talented John and TJ Osborne of Brothers Osborne announced they are releasing their highly-anticipated debut album, Pawn Shop, January 15 on EMI Nashville. Pawn Shop includes the CMA Vocal Duo of the Year nominees current Top 5 single "Stay A Little Longer" and the pair's playful summer sing-along, "Rum."
"Stay A Little Longer" is drawing critical acclaim with Billboard commending John's masterful shredding of his guitar and brother TJ's melting vocals. Industry critic Bob Lefsetz calls TJ's vocals "outstanding", and regarding the infectious track he admits, "I've got to hear it again and again and AGAIN!"
"It's challenging to have an entire life's work summed up in 11 songs so we really focused on having every track on this album held together by what John and I do," states TJ. "We want it to be different scenes on each track but to keep each one honest and from our perspective."
"Our upbringing certainly influenced the theme of this record," notes John. "It's who you re with and who you are that makes you happy. For us, as long as you re able to enjoy yourself with family and friends you re really living the good life."
Brothers Osborne's rural blue-collar upbringing infiltrates the music they make as a twang-and-crunch duo that blends equal parts country and rock into one of the freshest, most identifiable sounds to come out of Nashville in recent years.
"Their music, while country, has a certain air that gives it a more modern feel," notes the Providence Journal while Rolling Stone states that "Brothers Osborne are at the crest of the wave, ready to sweep across an audience that s grown thirsty for something new." Former tourmate Eric Church adds, "My favorite thing about Brothers Osborne is that they don t sound like anyone else. They are singularly distinctive."
John and TJ co-wrote all 11 tracks on Pawn Shop and partnered with producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band) on the project Nashville Lifestyles highlights as one of the most anticipated upcoming releases.
Brothers Osborne have previously toured with artists including Darius Rucker, Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves, and currently, fans can catch the Maryland natives on the road with Jon Pardi as part of the All Time High tour.

Tyminski will release Southern Gothic October 20 on Mercury Records Nashville. All 13 tracks on the album were co-written by Tyminski who describes the album as holding up a mirror to society without judgment or opinions. What started out as songwriting for other artists, resulted in the 14-time Grammy winner finding himself jealous to give up the songs he was writing and realizing that he had an opportunity to explore these songs within his own project.
The Rutland, Vermont native is one of the premier vocalists in modern acoustic music. As a child, he was drawn to Southern singers including Jimmy Martin, Ricky Skaggs and Tony Rice and found himself not only mimicking their southern singing voices but also teaching himself how to play banjo by ear. A 25-year member of Alison Krauss’ Union Station, he is also the singing voice of George Clooney’s character in the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? for which he won two Grammy Awards including Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for the single “I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow” and Album of the Year for the soundtrack which sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
In 2014 after lending his vocals to Avicii’s international pop hit “Hey Brother,” which went #1 in at least 18 countries and has global streams of over 1.1 billion and downloads of 5.3 million, Tyminski began to realize that he could fit outside of his acoustic music box. Working with producer Jesse Frasure (Thomas Rhett, Lauren Alaina) and top songwriters including Sarah Buxton (“Stupid Boy”), Josh Kear (“Need You Now”), Cary Barlowe (“American Honey”), Andrew Dorff (“Neon Light”) and Amy Wadge (“Thinking Out Loud”), Tyminski has crafted an American quilt of music that is a melding of genres and in which the symbolism of light and dark seem to always be at odds.
“I feel that the light and dark in this record are truly my journey, my personal journey in life,” explains Tyminski. “I think we all feel that whisper from each side of your shoulder, someone saying, ‘yeah do it,’ or ‘no don’t do it.’ I have an enormous struggle with that in my life, but it’s something that I’m aware of. I try to make sure that I understand what the right voice is. I don’t make quick decisions because light and dark, in my opinion, can often look very similar.”

|Eagles : The Very Best Of (2CD)
Lowest new price: $15.77
Lowest used price: $4.22
33 career-spanning hits and album favorites on 2 CDs. Includes Take It Easy; Witchy Woman; Peaceful Easy Feeling; Desperado; Already Gone; James Dean; The Best of My Love; Lyin' Eyes; One of These Nights; Take It to the Limit; Hotel California; Life in the Fast Lane , and more. Unbeatable!
This packed double-disc is the slim option for fans who find the Eagles' vaunted greatest hits sets too little and the boxed set too hefty. Hit singles large and medium are here, often ("One of These Nights," "Hotel California") still sounding definitive and even tough. Large helpings of favorite album cuts are also included, along with a taster from a promised 2004 Eagles studio reunion. Unfortunately, "Hole in the World," Don Henley's response to September 11, feels just as empty and entitled as "Get Over It," the band's previous state-of-the-union message (from which the newer song represents a philosophical 180-degree turn). But for those seeking an overview of this Southern California juggernaut's successes, as well as telling comments from band members--mostly Henley and Frey--in a well-designed booklet, Very Best will more than do. --Rickey Wright

'God's Problem Child' is Willie s first album to debut all-new songs since 'Band of Brothers' in 2014. It includes 13 new songs, including seven recently written by Willie and Buddy Cannon, his longtime collaborator and producer. The album's title track, penned by Jamey Johnson and Tony Joe White, includes vocals by both writers and the legendary Leon Russell (on what may be Russell's very last recording). Closing the album is "He Won't Ever Be Gone," a song written by Gary Nicholson that pays tribute to Willie's outlaw country comrade, Merle Haggard.
