This stirring and heartfelt tribute is also a real-life fairy tale: the story of Sergei Grinkov and Ekaterina Gordeeva. They met in their native Moscow and were paired when she was only 11 and he was 15. Together they won four World Championships and gold medals in the 1988 and 1994 Olympics pairs skating competitions--and together, they fell in love. Inseparable, Sergei and Ekaterina were soulmates both on and off the ice. Then, at the age of 28, Sergei died of sudden heart failure. This is the story of their life together, as told in Ekaterina's own words, for their daughter, Daria. A unique combination of re-enactment, actual skating clips, and interviews with fellow skaters Scott Hamilton, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Victor Petrenko, it brings the romance and tragedy of these champions vividly to life. 1998, 90 minutes.

List price: $9.98

"Today our world moves more quickly than ever, with greater responsibilities and expectations," says instructor Suzanne Deason. "When we experience stress, it's held in our muscles as tension." This 20-minute yoga practice, filmed at sunset on the beach at Maui, will help relax your mind and muscles--especially those of the neck, shoulders, and lower back, where tension accumulates--and let stress drift away. The yoga practice includes 4 minutes of gentle stretch, a 13-minute stress-relief workout that increases circulation and flexibility, and 3 minutes of deep relaxation to leave you calmed and balanced. You'll need a foam brick (or other object suitable for resting your forehead) and a strap or towel for some of the moves. Deason glides from one pose to another, her instruction clear and relaxed. This video is appropriate for all fitness levels and all ages--as long as you realize that you're not trying to match the suppleness of the instructor. Beautifully produced. --Joan Price

WWF Divas - Postcard from the Caribbean

WWF Divas - Postcard from the Caribbean Lowest new price: $4.49
Lowest used price: $4.99
List price: $4.49

This tribute to five ladies of the World Wrestling Federation, feisty "sports entertainers" who aren't quite strippers but also aren't quite wrestlers, is inadvertently summed up in a taunt showcased in the video. One of the women takes note of the breast implants sported by another and sneers, "Too bad you can't get a brain enhancement." Okay, it's not exactly George Bernard Shaw, but fans of the WWF probably won't care. There are misguided and hapless attempts to provide thoughtful content in segments in which Ivory, the Kat, Terri Runnels, Tori, and Trish Stratus pontificate about their hopes and dreams, but much of the footage shot in the Caribbean plays like a slow motion wet T-shirt contest. Interspersed with footage of the ladies in outfits that are either minuscule or transparent are clips showing them in action at WWF events. In a spectacular backstage brawl, one of the ladies tortures another with a hot iron at the climax of a nasty catfight, but the girls are bubbly and upbeat and happily frolicking on the beach a few months later. It's the WWF, and things don't make a lot of sense. The whole point is simply to have outrageous characters (and their enhancements) on display. And displayed they are. --Robert J. McNamara

Primal Fear [VHS]

Primal Fear [VHS] Lowest new price: $1.49

Newcomer Edward Norton became an instant movie star in 1996 with three amazing performances in Primal Fear, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and Everyone Says I Love You. Make that four amazing performances, because in Primal Fear he plays a young man named Aaron Stampler whose personality seems to be divided in two: one tough and cynical, the other shy and fearful. Richard Gere plays Martin Vail, the slick Chicago attorney who defends Aaron on charges of brutally murdering an archbishop who may have sexually molested Aaron and other boys in his parish. The courtroom suspense is nail-biting as the jaded hotshot Vail comes to care about the case and the defendant. This is one of the better legal dramas of recent years, with plenty of juicy twists and turns. Frances McDormand (who was soon to win an Oscar for Fargo) plays a psychiatrist. --Jim Emerson
